WHY JOIN DGHA?
The purpose of DGHA is to help maintain the value of homes
in our area while providing social activities that promote a
tight-knit community of friendship & fun.
For $45 per
year, DGHA members receive:
1. A monthly newsletter with articles about issues that
affect our neighborhood, a reminder of monthly activities,
contact information for the Board & Committee members, and
an opportunity to advertise your business (for a nominal
fee.)
2. The neighborhood directory and map listing of
babysitters, tutors, pet sitters, etc.
3. Calling Post - Phone announcements to remind you of
specific events such special events & programs, neighborhood
watch meetings, missing pets, etc.
4. Social activities such as bunco, book club, supper club,
poker club, playgroup, coffees and wine tasting events.
These activities, while organized by the association,
receive no funding from DGHA except for sand and bags for
the December luminaries, and ice-cream and pizza for the
annual children's Halloween party.
5. Utilities for the entrances (sprinklers & lights),
maintenance of the flower beds, and broken sign repair.
6. Recognition signs for yard of the month, best holiday
decorations, etc.
